Warren Gerds, theatre critic for the Green Bay Press-Gazette, had good things to say about the One Act Festival and Venture Theatre in general:

“While the plays tell a variety of tales (most comical), the presentations are not a hodgepodge but disciplined theater.”

“How cool is it to have a theater with fresh, well-played, imaginative productions as this? Way cool.”

“The plays are often single ideas that wouldn’t make a full-length play, but they’re worthy to unfold in 5 to 20 minutes. They create an impressive collection of hoots.”
