Stop by Venture Theatre to check out the soap opera farce, Lustful Youth. An introverted television statistician is forced to write a script for immediate production. With the help of his creative, imaginary friend, Dill, he uses the people he knows to produce what should be a statistically pleasing soap opera including sex, murder and intrigue. Written and directed by Mike Eserkaln, this play proves to be a witty satire an audience will love.

Venture Theatre is Making a Comeback!

You read that right… Venture Theatre is in the process of relaunching in De Pere. After a nearly two year hiatus, the original scripted plays that you’ve come to know and love are returning, along with plans for sketch comedy, stand up comedy, music and more.

ComedyCity has moved to the Sports Corner

As of March 1st, 2010, The Sports Corner in downtown De Pere is our new permanent home. The first shows at the new venue were Friday & Saturday, March 5th & 6th.

Pretty much everything you know and love about our shows – the format, the players, the showtimes, the prices and the family-freindly hilarity – will stay the same. Just the place we’re doing them will change. And it’s not really that big of a change – we’re only moving about three blocks or so.

The address of the new venue is 500 Grant Street, De Pere, WI 54115 on the corner of 5th & Grant, next to the Nicolet Restaurant.

So, after March 1st, don’t go to the old theatre because you’re going to be there all alone.

Please Note: We’re moving to the Sports Corner, not to be confused with Coaches Corner off of highway 41.
